Position Description:
Social Media Account Manager

This position will serve as a day-to-day contact for clients.  The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications (or similar) and at least 5 years of account management experience with a digital, public relations or advertising agency.

Requirements::
• Proven ability to translate client business objectives into project requirements and deliverables
• Exposure to/Experience working with development, design, strategy and content teams
• Assertiveness/Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership with clients and colleagues
• Solution-oriented leader with proven ability to manage a cross-functional team
• Familiarity with all aspects of brand development and digital marketing, including best
practices in digital development, strategy and social media
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets and vendor load balance
• Strong partnering, organizational, communication (written and oral), and presentation skills
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically
• Ability to master and maintain a working knowledge of the client’s business, competition, and industry trends
• Desire to contribute to new business initiatives and to act as a representative of Freeworld Media with association groups and networking events
• Activity in the social space, including but not limited to active Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and LinkedIn profiles, and familiarity with emerging platforms such as Pinterest, etc.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office suite
• Familiarity with HTML, Sharepoint, WordPress a plus
